Last Updated: August 25, 2026

TheRightSong is owned and operated by Clearview Strategy Co. with the location of 1272 S Governors Ave. Ste C POB 1059 Dover DE, 19904.

Please read these Terms carefully before diving into our playlists, artist spotlights, and recommendations. By using the Site in any way, you’re agreeing to be bound by these Terms in full. We may change, add to, or remove parts of these Terms at any time and without giving you advance notice, so we’d encourage you to swing back by this page every so often. If you don’t agree with these Terms, the best move is to stop using the Site.

Our Privacy Policy

Using the Site also means you’re agreeing to our Privacy Policy, which spells out how we collect and use your information and which you can find linked elsewhere on the Site.

We Can Change or Pull the Site at Any Time

We may modify, suspend, or shut down the Site — or any feature, playlist tool, or Service on it — at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You agree that we won’t owe you or anyone else anything as a result of us doing so.

Signing Up and Using the Site

You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to use or register for The Right Song — no exceptions. Some features, like contests, exclusive drops, or age-gated content, may require you to be at least eighteen (18); if you’re younger than that, please steer clear of those specific features. Whatever information you give us when you register — and afterward — needs to be true, current, and complete. Each person gets one account, and you’re on the hook for keeping your password confidential and for anything that happens under your account, whether or not you personally authorized it. Notice something fishy with your account? Tell us right away. By using the Site, you’re confirming you have the legal right and authority to be bound by these Terms. The Right Song is designed for U.S. residents; if you’re accessing it from elsewhere, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for following whatever local laws apply to you.

Your License to Use the Site

As long as you play by these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. This license doesn’t let you resell or commercially exploit anything on the Site, scrape or data-mine our content, copy registration details for another business’s benefit, or create derivative works from our material. You may not reproduce, duplicate, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site or any part of it without our written go-ahead. You also can’t frame our pages, logos, or trademarks, or bury our name or marks in hidden meta tags, without our written permission. Anything we haven’t expressly handed you here, we’re keeping — the Company, our affiliates, our licensors, and our other content partners retain all rights not specifically granted. Break these rules, and your license to use the Site ends automatically.

Who Owns What’s on the Site

Everything on the Site — our curation, our playlist descriptions, artist write-ups, recommendations, graphics, and design (collectively, the “Content“) — belongs to us, our affiliates, or our licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that Content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and nothing more. You can’t modify, copy, republish, upload, transmit, sell, or build derivative works from our Content unless we’ve said it’s okay, or the underlying rights holder has. One small exception: feel free to print or download a single copy of an individual page for your own personal use, so long as you leave all copyright notices intact.

Content You Post — Comments, Reviews, and Playlists

The Site may let you post comments, write reviews, build and share playlists, or submit other material (collectively, “Posted Content“). When you post anything, you’re telling us that you either own it outright or have full permission from whoever does. You’re also granting the Company — and anyone we choose to authorize — a royalty-free, non-exclusive, fully sub-licensable, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, host, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publicly perform, create derivative works from, and otherwise exploit your Posted Content, in any medium now known or later invented, for any purpose. That includes the right to pass those same rights on to third parties. This license is non-exclusive except that we retain exclusive rights to combine your Posted Content with content from other users — for example, to build a searchable database of song and playlist reviews. We keep any revenue generated from advertising, promotions, or syndication tied to Posted Content, and we may credit you as the author (by name, username, or email) if we choose. We’re under no obligation to pay you or give you credit for anything you post.

You may not post anything illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, invasive of someone’s privacy, infringing on another party’s rights, or otherwise harmful — and that includes spam, viruses, malicious code, chain letters, mass solicitations, or impersonation of another person or entity. We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, screen, edit, or remove Posted Content at our discretion, and we take no responsibility for content posted by users or other third parties.

Copyright Complaints

Music is what we’re all about, so we take intellectual property in songs, lyrics, artwork, and recordings especially seriously. If you believe, in good faith, that something on the Site infringes your copyright, send our copyright agent a written notice that includes:

  • a physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  • a description of where on the Site the allegedly infringing material appears;
  • a description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
  • your address, phone number, and email address;
  • a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you’re the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use wasn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

Send copyright notices to privacy@therightsong.com, or by mail to .

Links, Ads, and Content From Elsewhere

Some of what you see on the Site — ads, offers, embedded players, or links to streaming platforms and other third-party destinations — comes from parties we don’t control. We make no promises about, and take no responsibility for, the products, services, or content of any third party, including anything embedded in or linked from the Site. Check out those third parties’ own policies before you engage with them.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT THE SITE, ITS SERVERS, OR ANY EMAIL WE SEND ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME STATES DON’T ALLOW LIMITS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SOME OF THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS UNDER YOUR STATE’S LAWS.

You’ll Cover Us If Something Goes Wrong

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, along with our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and employees, from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from a third party’s claim connected to: your access to the Site; your use of our Services; any violation of these Terms; infringement of any intellectual property or other right by you or anyone using your account or password; any content you post; or any purchase you make through the Site or through our third-party partners.

Ending Your Access

These Terms stay in effect for as long as you’re using the Site and our Services. We may cancel or terminate your access to the Site, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. If we do, the restrictions on downloaded content and the disclaimers and liability limits in these Terms will continue to apply even after your access ends.

Governing Law and Where Disputes Get Resolved

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Site, and they replace any earlier agreement or understanding, written or oral. California law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute connected to your use of the Site or these Terms will be resolved through binding, confidential arbitration in California, as described in the Arbitration section below — except that if you’ve infringed or threatened to infringe our intellectual property, we may instead seek relief in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to those courts’ jurisdiction for that purpose.

ANY CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER IT ARISES, OR IT WILL BE PERMANENTLY BARRED.

Disputes must be resolved individually — not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action — and you waive any right to bring or join such an action. Any change we make to these arbitration or dispute-resolution provisions will apply only going forward, never to claims that arose before the change.

Arbitration

Arbitration under these Terms will follow the rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding and can be entered as a judgment in any court with proper jurisdiction. If arbitration isn’t available under the law for some reason, both sides waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
